Impressions Pottery Workshop – Almancil, Algarve
Step into the slow, satisfying world of clay with Impressions — a hands-on pottery workshop designed to be both creative and deeply calming.
This workshop is the perfect introduction to ceramics for beginners, but also a wonderful experience for anyone who loves handmade objects, mindful making, and tactile creativity.
You’ll start with a raw clay platter and transform it into a beautiful, functional piece by pressing, stamping, and embossing patterns into the surface. You’ll have access to a curated collection of wooden, plastic, and ceramic stamps from around the world, allowing you to create a truly unique design that reflects your style.
Once your platter is complete, you’ll choose from a selection of gorgeous glazes. We’ll then fire your piece in the kiln, and after a little kiln magic, your finished platter will be ready to collect — durable, food-safe, and made entirely by you.
This is one of our most rewarding workshops to teach: watching participants go from hesitant to confident, and leaving with something they never thought they could make.
